FUJINAMI Eiji (1982-) Japanese-style painter. Born and currently resides in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Completed studies in the Nagoya University of Arts Post Graduate Art. In 2006 he was selected for the 41st Nisshunten, the 17th Garyuzakura Nihonga Taishoten, and the 38th Nitten. In 2007 he participated in a South Korea-Japan artist exchange exhibition. In 2008 he was selected for Nihon no Shizen wo Egakuten. In 2009 he was selected for the 24th National Cultural Festival in Shizuoka 2009 art exhibition, participated in the 12th Wakamusha Nihongaten, and held his first personal exhibition (at Kameyama Gallery). In 2013 he held his second personal exhibition (at Kameyama Gallery). Many of his works use warm colors such as golden brown, reds, and scarlet, and are sublimated from the actual world to imagined scenery. Unaffiliated.
